Albany Medical Center CNP Tech III in Albany, New York

Salary Range: MIn. $23.96/hr - Max $34.85/hr

The Clinical Neurophysiology Lab Technologist III is integral to the smooth and efficient operation of the Clinical Neurophysiology Lab.

CNP Technologist III responsibilities include:

  • Scanning Long Term Monitoring EEG data marking abnormalities for Epileptologists

  • clipping and archiving Long Term EEG data

  • performing Intraoperative EEG recordings

Intraoperative Brain Mapping as well as all the duties of a CNP Tech II which are:

  • performing standard and complex EEG, Ambulatory EEG, Long Term Video Monitoring EEG hook-up, and all modalities of Evoked Potential recordings as well as office duties as needed. Correct documentation of the patient’s name, age, date of birth and history is required.

  • The CNP Technologist III must participate in the routine On-Call rotation as well as the rotation for weekend EEG data scanning.

The CNP Technologist III is responsible for always providing age-appropriate patient care for all CNP lab procedures.CNP Technologist III responsibilities include:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

An individual must be a Registered EEG Technologist (R.EEG T.) and Certified in Continuous Long-term Monitoring (CLTM) by the American Board of Registered Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists Credentialing and Accreditation (ABRET). EDUCATION:

Minimum: An Associate’s Degree; Graduate from an Accredited Electroneurodiagnostic program is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 3 years of experience working in END, and/or 2 years’ experience in Long Term Monitoring.
