Summary You will serve as an ELECTRONIC MEASUREMENT EQUIPMENT MECHANIC WORK LEADER in the TEST, MEASUREMENT, AND DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT (TMDE) DIVISION of MAINTENANCE CENTER ALBANY. Responsibilities You will be involved with the calibration, repair, rebuild, overhaul, installation, troubleshooting, modification, alignment, and maintenance of a wide array of Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic equipment (TMDE). You will pass on to workers, including journeymen and helpers, the instructions received from the supervisor to get work initiated. You will see to it that the needed plans, blueprints, materials, procedures, and tools are available, and that needed stock is obtained from supply personnel/locations. You will maintain a current knowledge, and answers questions from other workers, on procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directives. You will coordinate with the supervisor to ensure that there is enough work to keep everyone in the work crew busy and productivity employed.
