This individual will be responsible to (but not limited to):



n

+ Manage part numbers, bills of material, routings, and the Engineering Change Process.

n

+ Coordinate Engineering Changes with internal cross functional groups and external OEMs or Customers.

n

+ Overall responsibility of the CR Process.

n

+ Create part numbers, bill of materials and packaging needs based on Engineer Change Notice and enters changes into MRP system (KBM/QAD).

n

+ Lead change coordination meetings and maintains files and keeps current on status of all projects.

n

+ Support customer-driven product changes and application approval process.

n

+ Support Engineering group with product changes and application requirements.

n

+ Notify customers of pending changes and PPAP submissions.

n

+ Prepare reports, charts, and other materials and ensures accuracy.

n

+ Support the creation of tech publications (i.e. Tech pubs, parts lists, service videos, etc.).

n

+ Assure all change information is accurate and complete prior to routing for approval.

n

+ Ensure effective communication between all departments on all projects.

n

+ Work with bills of material, scheduling, and parts follow-up analyst to ensure alignment.

n

+ Support New Product Development teams by completing SOP 4.4K deliverables.

n

+ Ensure and leads successful product and application change implementation at the customer.

n

+ Support and make sure customers have working knowledge of any new or future Tech Service bulletins and updates.

n

+ Provide continuous improvement through process improvement and elimination of waste.

n

+ Responsible for the procurement and entry of all IMDS information

n

+ Understand the requirements for IMDS entry by all customers.

n

+ Enter IMDS data as required into the global web based IMDS system.

n

+ Provide respective quality groups with approved IMDS numbers in a timely manner.

n

+ Work with the Purchasing group to ensure all suppliers comply with Hendrickson's IMDS requirements.

n

+ Evaluate supplier submitted IMDS's for accuracy and completeness. Approve or reject as required.

n

+ All other duties as assigned.




The successful candidate will possess:



n

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent of experience.

n

+ Technical, mechanical or engineering background.

n

+ 5 years related experience.

n

+ Computer literate: MS Office, MRP systems.

n

+ Ability to organize, prioritize and manage projects.

n

+ Able to act independently, efficiently, and ability to close open issues.

n

+ Communication skills for both internal and external customers a priority. Written, verbal and presentation.
