LifePoint Health Pharmacist in Winchester, Tennessee
Pharmacist is licensed by the Tennessee State Board of Pharmacy and is responsible for the evaluation, selection, procurement, storage, dispensing of all drugs & pharmaceuticals utilized in the hospital. The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for participating in patient care through various processes, including but not limited to disease and medication monitoring, consulting the patients and hospital staff.
Minimum Education: Graduate of Pharmacy Schools with Pharm.D preferred but not required or BS in Pharmacy.
Required Skills: • Dispensing controlled substances, pharmaceutical calculations and conversions, abbreviations and metric system, infection control, sterile product preparation and laminar airflow hoods, medication safety, performance improvement.
Licenses / Certifications: • Doctor or Pharmacy Degree, preferred but not required. Must be in good standing and currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of Tennessee.
