Vision Group Holdings Sr. Business Intelligence Analysis in West Palm Beach, Florida
The role of the Sr. Business Intelligence Analysis is to leverage structured and unstructured data to create and deploy analytics solutions to enhance business performance for the Marketing team of Vision Group. Success in this role requires a balance of marketing business acumen, technical analytical skills, and a talent for communicating complex information concisely and clearly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITIES
Work closely with Marketing leaders to understand and document their needs for reporting and analysis, gathering business requirements and associated business rules to ensure a clear and shared understanding.
Maintain a detailed understanding of all marketing data sources and legacy queries for effective data analysis.
Analyze and report on funnel metrics and campaigns effectiveness including traffic, acquisition, conversion, and return on marketing investment.
Provide insight to marketing and executive leadership based on effective use of our standard suite of analytical tools (Microsoft Data Warehouse and Tableau).
Design and create innovative visualizations and dashboards to meet business needs, exhibiting a natural curiosity to identify patterns, trends, and performance insights.
Evaluate current reporting framework and processes to discover opportunities to move existing reports to more effective formats.
Develops insightful, dynamic, and visually appealing business presentations and effectively communicates findings and insights with senior leadership
Work closely with the analytics core team to ensure the data warehouse and analytical toolset work effectively across teams, sharing new ideas and techniques regularly
Ensure IT leadership is appropriately informed of performance or other issues.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably including formal studies in business, marketing, advanced analytics, or related fields. At least five years of experience in data visualization in a marketing environment. Specific skills and experience required include:
Must be able to visualize data—work with data sets to architect the most insightful data extracts and transform into effective visualizations.
Ability to work effectively across multiple functions to identify and support reporting needs and requirements—actively listen and translate business needs into effective data, report, and visualization outputs.
Fluency in Tableau visualizations is a must. Diverse understanding of other software programs preferred.
Must have experience in developing marketing KPIs and data visualizations that will drive business decisions.
Must be curious about how things work and have the ability to think from a big picture perspective—ability to understand processes and interdependencies across the organization.
Must have a strong eye for aesthetics to ensure data visualizations are clean, appealing, and professionally represented.
Must have extraordinary attention to detail and immaculate data management skills to ensure proper verification and consistency of data inputs and outputs.
Working knowledge of the customer acquisition, re-engagement and retention processes
Capable of communicating and inspiring strong collaboration
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
