Job Description:

  1. Manage Crib Area

a. Knowledge of all available inventory and its location

b. Maintain appropriate inventory levels in self-service area

c. Maintain sufficient but conservative backfill stock

d. Maintain security, safety, organization, and cleanliness of EIS

e. Source vendors for pricing and availability

f. Submit orders via eCatalog system, corporate purchasing card or 3rd party PO

g. Assist co-workers and contractors with locating/procuring items and suggest potential options based on crib stock

h. Process incidental purchase requests

i. Order supplies for janitorial staff

j. Approve PO-related invoices for payment

k. Receive/unpack items and check orders for accuracy

l. Maintain both electronic and paper records of purchases

  1. Monitor and maintain numerous contracts/services for annual renewal

a. Request vendor quotes

b. Submit purchase requests via eCatalog

c. Approve PO-related invoices for payment

  1. Serve as liaison for building-wide Xerox copiers

a. Troubleshoot copier issues

b. Place service calls

c. Submit monthly meter reads

d. Submit monthly invoices for payment

e. Order consumables as needed, keeping sufficient supply on-hand

  1. Provide back-up coverage for TCR Lobby Reception Desk

a. Greet visitors

b. Assist with sign-in process

c. Answer phones and route as needed

Desired Job Qualifications:

  1. Prior experience running a parts crib

  2. Understanding of fasteners, pipe fittings, electrical supplies, etc.

  3. Customer service attitude

  4. Organized

  5. Self-starter

  6. Attention to detail

  7. MS office user experience

  8. Reliable
