This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Position: Network AnalystnDepartment: Infrastructure ServicesnResponsibilities include:n• Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasksn• Works on routine assignments that require basic problem resolution and escalationn• Receives general direction on standard work; receives detailed instruction on new assignmentsn• Is self-motivated, and ability to multi-task in enterprise environmentn• Requires excellent phone skills.n• Open/Update/Assign/Resolve incidents in Service Now and monitor ticket queuen• Builds an understanding of the business and impact of missed SLA’s and how it impacts our customersn• Maintains a variety of documentation: including operation’s procedures (SOP), run sheets, and turnover.n• Learning and obtaining certifications in two of the following areas within three years of hire date: Network, Windows, VMware, and Storage (Cardinal will fund).n• Consults with Senior and Supervisor on complex and unusual problemsnPosition Requirements:nEducation or Equivalent:n• BA, BS or equivalent job experiencen• 1-2 years’ experience in an IT infrastructure support position in a large scale environment.n• Technical certification is desirable.nKnowledge/Skills Requirements:n• Basic understanding of multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix, etc.) and technical platforms (Networks, Firewalls, Storage, Virtualization, etc)n• Basic understanding of networking concepts and systems including Routing and Switching, Cisco, HP & F5 network devices, VOIP, WLANs.n• AWS cloud computing and Google cloud platform experience is a plus.n• Knowledge of the following tools is a plus: o Tivoli ITNM, SolarWinds, NetQos, Service Nown• Analyst must have good communication, organizational, analytical, and time management skills.n• Excellent customer service skills.n• Must be able to respond well to problems or challenges under pressure.n• Ability to work any shift in 24X7 environmentn• Language: Englishn• Proficient in MS Office applicationsnEEO EmployernApex is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
