Trinity Health Perdiem Patient Observer FLOAT team (night shift) in Waterbury, Connecticut
Provide constant or 1:1 observation of assigned patients.
Maintain a safe environment in the immediate patient care area.
Respond appropriately to changes in patient behavior.
Assist with supportive or structured interventions as advised by the nurse.
Record all observations on special observation flow sheet.
Report pertinent observations and all patient needs/activities to appropriate staff member.
Acknowledge patients, families, visitors, co-workers, medical professionals and the public with a friendly greeting throughout the day.
