**Work collaboratively with nurses to meet patient needs by obtaining report and having continued interaction so as to remain updated on patient care needs

Explain all care to patient/family prior to performing

**Assist with patient admissions including unit set-up and data collection

**Respond to patient call lights promptly and courteously, and complete patient care need before leaving the room

**Perform activities related to patient hygiene and nutritional support

**Transport patients as needed

Discharge patients according to hospital guidelines

**Refer patient/family questions or concerns to the nurse

**Promptly relay patient clinical information to the nurse

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED/PREFERRED:

Read, write and speak English

High School diploma or equivalent

Recent experience caring for patients

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED/PREFERRED:

Provide care related to activities of daily living

Performance of manual compressions during CPR

CREDENTIALS/LICENSE REQUIRED:

Certified Nurse Aide Certificate
