Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean up yard and shop areas through functions such as organizing, stocking, sweeping, scrubbing, power-washing, and moving/lifting products and equipment.
- Operate a forklift, skid loader, or other tools as necessary.
- Able to work outside in weather conditions such as heat, cold and humidity.
- Exert physical effort in handling objects that weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Complete paperwork, forms and records as required.
- Perform basic math functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with the ability to solve practical and technical problems.
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule formats.
- Perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, overhead cranes, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ensure that safe work practices are followed and adhered to.
- Dispose of scrap or waste material in accordance with WRCH policies and environmental regulations.
- Be willing to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position.
- Clean and disassemble equipment that has been returned for repair. Paint and assemble repaired equipment as needed.
