Overall Description:

Role is entry level. Team member works under supervision and direction.

Generally, work is done on individual components of a project or product versus the full solution set.

Role may include a focus on maintenance and bug fixes.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Discipline

Functional Competencies:

Required Skills:

  • C#/C++/Python/Java

  • Machine Learning: Supervised, Unsupervised and Reinforcement

  • Be familiar with at least one of AI frameworks like Tensor Flow

  • Deep Learning (this is subset of Machine Learning)

  • Computer Vision

  • System Engineer (preferred knowledge on Hardware capabilities)

  • OS Knowledge - Linux, iOS, Android, Windows


  • Creates and maintains test scripts to ensure the application is validated per automation test strategy and addresses customer requirements

  • Uses test frameworks and tools to run automated test scripts and manage the test environment

  • Makes recommendations on corrections for automation testing failure

Continuous Improvement:

  • Applies new industry-leading practices to improve productivity & efficiency

  • Takes ownership & responsibility for solving problems, working to drive improvement in own work

  • Applies novel & efficient ways of working to continuously improve solutions

Quality Design & Assurance:

  • Understands variety of testing tools & frameworks

  • Conducts testing to confirm the product is reliable, accurate, consistent, and durable

  • Contributes to test scripts and test cases that successfully meets the functional & nonfunctional requirements

Software Design & Development:

  • Consults with internal (including cross functional) stakeholders to gather understanding of domain, customer & strategic requirements

  • Translates requirements & user stories into SW design

  • Develops, customizes, or configures SW & selects design patterns to meet customer needs

Software Engineering Best Practices:

  • Builds a solid understanding of the SW development life-cycle including unit testing

  • Applies SW Engineering best practices to improve quality of SW development life-cycle

Trouble Shooting:

  • Analyzes customers’ problems & engages in initial diagnosis

  • Utilizes basic techniques & tools to investigate possible resolutions to solve issues

  • Determines best possible solution for basic problems, quickly implementing solutions to reduce downtime for customers

  • Generates appropriate documentation for proper ongoing support & maintenance of SW modules installed in production environment
