This is a strategic and highly collaborative role to build and develop product alliances and contribute to the growth of business in the Agency industry. Software alliances are key to Deltek’s strategy in delivering high value solutions to our customers. The Product Alliance Manager will work closely with a cross functional team including product strategy, sales, competitive intelligence, and marketing to identify and manage inbound ISV relationships, drive marketing strategies, solution pipeline and industry growth.
Partner ecosystem strategy and development
Have extensive knowledge of the business solutions and trends in the Agency industry
Collaborate cross functionally and contribute to the development of ISV partner solutions and messaging to help enhance Deltek’s roadmap for the Agency industry.
Understand our industry priorities to build business cases, draft management presentations on strategic initiatives, and establish new product partner relationships.
Align product alliance partners with key strategic sales plays
Understand how the unique value partners’ products add to the Deltek value equation for customers in the Agency industry.
Plan and execute programs that enable product partners to effectively engage with Deltek, ramp-up pipeline, create and promote the joint value proposition to customers and sales
Be the central point of contact for product partners with various internal Deltek organizations such as, product management, product marketing, and sales.
Evangelize ISV industry strategy and partner ecosystem across multiple internal Deltek organizations including sales, marketing, services, and product marketing, product management.
Assist product partners in the creation of customer and internal-facing collateral, success stories, joint marketing as well as other activities that drive mutual business.
Able to articulate a high-level fit of a partner solution with focus on business capabilities
Manage appropriate communication, coordination of activities, anticipate issues, facilitate conflict resolution, manage escalation, and solve business problems.
Work Location:US HDQ-Remote Qualifications:The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the Agency industry of engaging with and building ISV partnerships in a high growth technology organization. The individual must exhibit qualities that inspire teaming and trust to influence cross functional team to support Alliances/Partnering strategies.
Minimum 3+ years experience in Alliances (highly desirable), Business Development, Software Sales, and or Partner Marketing.
Intelligent, creative, hard-working and ability to quickly learn and synthesize broad cross-business or cross discipline information (about our industry, solutions, trends, business needs, partners, competitors, etc.) that leads to breakthroughs or significant insight.
Results-oriented team player with ability to work independently.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task work flows.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, verbal and written communication.
Enterprise software experience preferred.
Bachelor’s college degree or equivalent preferred.
