Job SummarySUMMARY OF POSITION:The incumbent is to work alongside with the Technical Sales Manager to develop, grow and support the EM business in MY and SEA. The incumbent is expected to manage and build relationships with key distributor by educating, collaborating and working closely with other functional groups within SEA.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provide technical sales support and service to existing customers within Malaysia. Develop new customers within Malaysia via channel distribution. Manage and develop new client base within SEA as and when necessary. Manage and guide distributors to expand the business. Responsible to meet sales and performance KPI. Sales and self -driven with strong desire for developing the business within the assigned territory/ region. Traveling within SEA region on required basis to support regional customers (Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia). Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.

DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:

Maintain accurate and current sales / marketing records. Provide territory updates on a weekly/ monthly basis. Review new business opportunities and distributor updates. Submit travel and expense reports.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

BS/MS in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Material Science/ Materials Engineering.

Experience:

At least 5-7 years’ experience supporting semiconductor/LED/Solar industry in technical sales role.

At least 3 years’ experience as process/applications engineer in semiconductor, LED or solar manufacturing processes.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

Ability to engage in technical discussion with potential customers. Analytical and has competent problem-solving skills.

Semiconductor background with extensive experience in wet processes, front/back end processes and/or solar cell or LED manufacturing.

Deep understanding about chemical applications/mechanism in IC/LED/Solar/Back End is a plus.

Skills/Competencies:

Solution Selling, Negotiations skills, Channel Management and customer relationship.

Other Skills:

Excellent communication skills, MS excel, Presentation.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

50% travelling may be required as part of job.
