Essilor of America IT Process Improvement Coordinator in Thailand

Job Location: Lad Krabang Industrial Estate, BANGKOK

Mission:

The position holder is to implement and ensure all the IT working processes of the Essilor Shared Services Thailand ( ESSTH ) are properly institutionalized as well are consistently complied with the CMMI standards set ( C apability M aturity M odel I ntegration)

The position holder responsible to provide valuable inputs on improving IT working processes throughout the departments of ESSTH and arising from operational changes, whereas the compliance processes will be stable, controllable, predictable, sustainable, and continually improved

Responsibilities:

1. CMMI

  • As project coordinator to effectively implement CMMI standard within ESSTH organization

2. Process Improvement

  • Identifies and initiates improvement opportunities, encourages, solicits feedback and works closely with each IT process owners on issues, best practices, lessons learned, process improvement and changes noted.

  • Reviews and recommends changes to the working processes of ESSTH.

  • Acts as the keeper of the process, with the responsibility for maintaining the process asset and keeping it up-to-date.

  • Provides guidance to ESSTH team members on the use of process assets, cascades information when changes are made and relay the expected benefits of proper implementation of such.

  • Conducts organizational process trainings to promote process awareness and facilitate regular discussions on process improvements.

3. Customer Service

  • Provides objective insight in identifying gaps from each of the teams

  • Performs first pass review of process and improvement documents

  • Exhibits confidence in the understanding of the CMMI process and provides sound suggestions and recommendations accordingly.

4. Administrative

  • Records activities in Tracking tool and reports/escalates issues to superior when needed;

  • Prepares and submits the needed reports;

5. Teamwork

  • Closely coordinates with other team members of ESSTH.

  • Facilitates effective team interaction adhering to the values of the company and meeting its objectives.

  • Ability to flexibly adjust to help other team members to ensure continuity of providing service.

6. Learning and Development

  • Expands knowledge on business process, CMMI process, project management and other IT related information;

  • Stays abreast of current technology, system information, problems, changes and updates relevant to the team;

7. Performance of other tasks as maybe assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in related field - IT, Computer Science, MIS, MBA (Master Degree Preferred)

  • Minimum 5 years experience in CMMI standard implementation, ITIL or similar

  • Ability to spot improvements needed in accordance with the set standards

  • Ability to pay close attention to details and exceptional problem solving skills

  • Strong analytical skills coupled with attention to detail and documentation

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in a team environment.

  • Able to communicate thoroughly ideas, findings and recommendations on quality audit results both verbal and written.

  • Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.

  • Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.

  • Ability to analyze business processes, perform in-depth work analyses, identify and analyze the gaps between the two.

  • Group facilitation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in a team environment.
