DHL Express Sweden is looking for an Experienced Area Sales Manager to be based in our office in Gothenburg. As Sales Manager you will be part of the Sales Management Team and report to the Sales Director.

The Swedish sales organization is represented in the whole country with offices from Malmö in the South to Ljusdal in the North.

The sales organization is responsible for all Sales at DHL Express with an overall responsibility for all customers. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced company and actively wants to contribute to the Company’s ambitious goals.

As the Sales Manager West & Central Region, you are working to build a positive, energetic, successful Sales Team whose hunger for delivering Exceptional Customer Experiences and attracting new business to DHL Express will in turn improve turnover and profitability of the Region and contribute to the overall success of DHL Express Sweden. You will have Field Sales Executives and Key Account Managers reporting to you, all based in the West and Central area, at our office in Gothenburg and Örebro.

Responsibilities:

  • Set clear targets and lead the team to reach those through coaching and inspirational leadership

  • Work in line the company’s global sales processes in order to achieve maximum productivity and results.

  • Be a part of the functional management team

  • Build strong relationships with key people and decision makers for your customers

  • Develop your network/contacts internally such as CSI and MNC for respective customers

Wanted qualifications and personal features:

  • Strong Leadership Skills

  • Continued education after high school level

  • Goal and result oriented

  • Solid negotiations skills and ability to find pragmatic solutions without giving up on fundamental parameters

  • Ability to deliver results without compromising on respect for customers, colleagues and partners and ability to lead by influence

  • Great communication skills in both Swedish and English (verbally and in writing)

  • High energy and a strong focus on delivering tangible results
