Our Global Security Organization is comprised of multiple teams that work together to support our operations around the globe. Our mission is to keep the things that we value safe & secure while protecting the people, assets and reputation of Facebook. We protect the people of Facebook by creating a safe & secure environment for our culture to flourish. We ensure Facebook’s physical and intellectual assets are safe & secure. From buildings and servers, to prototypes and ideas. We help make smart, informed decisions to protect Facebook’s reputation.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced technical lead who has great aspiration for technology, a good understanding of corporate security processes, systems and problem-solving. The candidate will work as part of a global team, be responsible for overseeing the work direction and product in a given region as well as partner with the global team to provide 24X7 technology support to the global security operations organization. This is a cross-functional role that partners closely with other leads, global security operations managers and supervisors, investigations, intelligence and other Global Security and Facebook internal teams.
This role will be located in Singapore Office.
Lead a local team of technology operators assessing technology issues within the suite of products supported by the Global Security Technology Operations Center.
Provide guidance to Global Security Operations managers and teams regarding the impact and resolution of issues affecting applications that are utilized across the Facebook footprint for security operations.
Understands and applies comprehensive knowledge of security suite of applications, troubleshooting, managing large and small scale issues, teaches others.
Actively involved in interviewing and on-boarding of new employees and contributes to setting team goals and direction.
Plans, executes and evaluates complex assignments.
5+ years of technology experience support in a production support, Operations or Help desk
2+ years of supervisor or lead experience
Experience managing workload distribution
Experience monitoring team performance, strengths and weaknesses
Experience working with vendor managers and integrators
Experience working with end-users, infrastructure, IT support, management, network teams, field teams in production support environment
Must be able to read write and speak English
Knowledge of security systems such as Genetec, CCure, Access Management, badge printing
Services, server and operating system management
Network management understanding a plus
Security operations, or help desk experience a plus
Possess great interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to focus on troubleshooting problems
