Positions in this function conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning in practice operations as well as revenue cycle management. They support short and long term operational / strategic business activities - by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information, monthly reporting package and models. They also develop and implement effective / strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes.

Gather and organize information on problems or procedures. Analyze data gathered and potential solutions. Confer with personnel concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures. Develop and implement records management program for filing, protection, and retrieval of records, and assure compliance with program. Review and confer with management and users about format, distribution, and purpose, and to identify problems and improvements. Interview personnel and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed, and methods, equipment, and personnel used. Document findings and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes. Design, evaluate, recommend, and approve changes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work cross functionally with internal teams to develop and drive key initiatives in finance, analytics, and operations

  • Sought out as an expert; develops a deep understanding of the client’s business challenges and resources then translating that knowledge into actionable opportunities for organizational and financial growth

  • Provide coaching, leadership and mentorship to grow the skills and abilities of the practice operations team

  • Facilitate cross organizational communications, coordination and transparency

  • Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them

  • Develops strong relationships to support and influence direction with buy in from key stakeholders

  • Serves as a key resource on complex and / or business critical issues

  • Solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions with explanation

  • Performs complex conceptual analyses and data deep dives with plan of action

  • Serves as a mentor who reviews work performed by others and provides recommendations for improvement

  • Leader who motivates and inspires other team members

  • Participate in special projects and completes other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a health care or consulting data analysis and reporting capacity

  • 3+ years experience understanding the key processes, roles and different policies / procedures of outpatient clinics

  • 3+ years knowledge of how clinic processes impact financial outcomes

  • 3+ years track record influencing groups, able to work across organizational boundaries, dealing with ambiguity and developing internal networks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare / Practice Operations

  • Revenue Cycle - EPIC / GE experience

  • Reporting / Analytics / SQL / Microsoft Excel - Advanced / Access / PPT

  • Project Management and Microsoft Project

  • Experience managing and directing staff

  • Display business and financial acumen to develop meaningful strategies and recommendations with and for clients

  • Experience developing customer relationships including presentation and communication skills at all levels of internal and client organizations

  • Flexible and adaptive to changing business requirements and environment, able to influence difficult customers

  • Exceptional use of communication tools and applications
