Community Health Systems Nuclear Med Technologist-FT-Day Shift in VICKSBURG, Mississippi
Responsible for obtaining diagnostic quality nuclear medicine examinations according to pre-established guidelines. Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience.
Graduate of a radiographer and nuclear medicine technologist program. One (1) year of clinical Nuclear Medicine Technology experience in an acute care setting is preferred. Licensure in Medical Radiation with the State of Mississippi is required. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology and either Nuclear Medicine Technology or Certified with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) required. BLS Certification is required (or within 30 days of hire into the department).
