Mission: Strategic business partner that provides accurate and timely financial reporting to support decision making and financial control oversight to safeguard the company's assets. The Plant Controller is a key member of local Site Leadership Team and integral to the ongoing development of Company Culture consistent with GPI Core Values. While effectively partnering with both Finance and Operations management, the Plant Controller promotes an environment dedicated to exceeding customer expectations ensuring alignment with GPI business, financial and operational objectives. These activities provide CPD (Consumer Packaging Division) with a solid financial platform that drives shareholder value and enables us to provide the packaging solutions to improve the world in which we live. Outcomes: * Organization * Reports to the Finance Manager, Western Region * Manages all aspects of the finances including but not limited to: AP, AR, Payroll, Customer Pricing, Budget & Forecasting, and analysis of variances from budget and forecasts * Partners with the CPD finance management team * Deliver an annual continuous improvement plan with financial goals * Participate in leading practice reviews and other lean events The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
