We are looking or a Sales and Marketing Assistant to join our team! The Sales and Marketing Assistant will assist the Financial Advisor with marketing initiatives, coordinate internal referral programs, promote seminars, conduct research, send routine letters, process transactions, and manage client relationships. Assist the Marketing Department with event management, community outreach, customer communications, and digital/social media promotions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: First point of contact for client questions and setting appointments. Foster client relationships to build trust and facilitate referrals. Assist with questions. Prepare client reviews, financial projections, and illustrations. Review transactions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Maintain a record of all transactions processed per required control measures. Gather, track, monitor, and maintain information and status from various sources. Assist with submission of due diligence reports and account opening documentation. Compliance with necessary rules, regulations, and policies. Develop internal training tools for Branches and Departments. Produce advertising collateral and execute client mailings, adhering to Cetera compliance. Plan and coordinate events with Advisor and Marketing team. Proactively seek opportunities to deepen relationships and market share. Develop annual schedule and agenda for external marketing campaigns. Represent OFS Financial and OlyFed at community outreach events by networking, creating referral partner relationships, and building a pipeline of prospective clients. Maintain inventory supply. Communicate reorder requests. Organize travel arrangements for Advisor. Compile and submit expense reports. Process trades and forward to designated supervisor for processing. Stay informed on status of trades. Assist with following up on suspended or unusual trades to resolve issues Other duties and projects as assigned. Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS: Investments, insurance, trusts, bank products, and financial planning. Excellent public and customer relations skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, maintain confidence, and determine needs and requirements. Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail. Work both independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment. Work a flexible schedule, occasionally outside of normal business hours. Organizational skills and composure. Flexibility and adaptability to prioritize a fluctuating workload in a customer-driven environment. Exercise customer confidentiality and discretionary judgment. Proficiency in basic computer programs with ability to learn new software. Travel to and work from multiple branch and community locations. Read, write, speak, and understand English well. Perform basic calculations. Maintain knowledge of Cetera and Association policies, products, and services, and applicable Association Policies and Federal Regulations.
