JOB PURPOSE:

• The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for implementing the nursing process in the care of adult and geriatric medical-surgical patients with complex care needs. The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the effectiveness of care and patient teaching. The professional nurse assumes the responsibility and accountability for the delegation of patient care tasks to other members of the healthcare team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• License to practice as a Registered nurse in the state of New Jersey
• Basic Life Support(BLS) required
• ACLS preferred
• Certification in clinical specialty within 5 years of hire date
