We are seeking a Senior Consultant in Toronto with who lives Digital and who will contribute significantly to the aggressive objectives of the team to deliver remarkable client experiences.

As a Senior Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing leadership as part of a team of multi-disciplinary high performing consultants

  • Supporting business development activities such as proposal development

  • Contributing to the growth and eminence of the practice by supporting thought leadership and practice development activities

  • Being part of a team that helps our clients build a new vision for their company

  • Helping our clients explore disruptive strategies that create business value

  • Promoting IBM’s unique value proposition in the market

  • Researching industry trends, competitive benchmarking, strategic opportunities for clients across industries globally

  • Consolidating and analyzing research information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing recommendations for presentation to management and clients

  • Working closely with the IBM account teams, SMEs to drive executive meeting to build long-term business opportunity

  • Leading and driving the necessary business, strategic and technical relationships within the organizations to identify new opportunities

  • Develop lasting relationships based on mutual respect with client decision makers

  • Influencing client satisfaction through contribution to speedy resolution of issues and risks

Required Experience

  • Holds multi-year undergraduate or higher degree or diploma in areas of computer science or computer engineering or related field with 3-8 years of experience in IT or related field

  • Expert in digital with expertise in requirement gathering

  • One or more of the following: Certified Scrum Product Owner or Certified SAFe PM/PO

  • Expert at leading the creation of requirements for Agile teams (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria)

  • Expert at managing living documentation on Confluence or similar program

  • Experience with BDD or FSS industry experience

  • Expert at leading requirement gathering workshops

  • Tools/frameworks: One or more of, Confluence, JIRA, and Gherkin

  • Gives direction to: Business Analysts

  • Accountable for definition and actualization of the requirements for the application(s)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Masters degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years in an IT consulting organization or similar

  • Experience in product management and delivery

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Masters degree or equivalent

  • 4+ years in an IT consulting organization or similar

  • Experience in product management and delivery
