The Manager of Treasury Operations is a full-time, appointment reporting to the Bursar. The Manager is responsible for managing, supervising, hiring and evaluating departmental staff in the Cashier's and Accounts Receivable Offices. The Manager ensures the accuracy of student refunds, cash management and the reconciliation of student and third party receivable accounts; documents financial processes to include policies and procedures and internal control documentation; and identifies and implements necessary internal control improvements to ensure efficiency. This position requires a work schedule of 40 hours per week. He/she may, on occasion, work some evenings and weekends as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited college and experience which enables one to perform the essential job functions, or combination of education and work related experience.
Three (3) years of recent experience in financial aid, accounting, auditing, or finance.
Ellucian Banner system experience, preferred.
Ability to interpret and administer policies and guidelines set forth by the University’s Board of Trustees, Federal, State and Local agencies.
Ability to provide excellent customer service.
Works in a professional office environment with possible high stress levels. Position will require sitting and computer use for long periods of time, also intermittent standing, walking, stooping, bending and lifting.
