Development and delivery of lecture and laboratory courses in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry to include coordinating student laboratory experiences; planning curricula; and oversight of student research projects. Administrative oversight of the Medical Scholars MS program. Participation in scholarly and professional activities required. Other responsibilities include advising students in the department, participation in faculty meetings, student recruitment activities and program accreditation. Masters Degree and a minimum of three years combined teaching and clinical experience in Molecular Methods required. Doctorate Degree preferred. National certification as a Molecular Biologist (MB (MP), ASCP) preferred. Experience in distance education preferred. Visual, motor, and communication skills essential to teaching and performing molecular biology and biochemistry required. *Candidates may be considered at a commensurate title/salary.
