Dingwell s North America is currently taking applications for a skilled Machinist for our Superior, WI manufacturing facility. Qualified candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years in the machining trade and be able to operate machine tools in a productive and safe manner. If you have the experience we are looking for, we d like to meet with you. Responsibilities: Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, samples, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters. Set-up, adjust and operate a variety of machine tools within a department. Adjusts tools and replace as necessary. Follow set-up procedures and recommend improvements. Read and understand layouts, job packets and blueprints for the parts being run. Perform quality checks on parts with the use of a variety of inspection equipment. Maintain a clean, safe work area. Must produce parts that meet our quality requirements at the lowest cost, in a timely manner, while minimizing waste of materials and resources. Assist in process development with engineers, quality technicians and supervisors. Perform daily maintenance of machines as required and keep supervisor informed of necessary maintenance beyond operator assigned maintenance. Work as a team member to aid all shifts and support personnel to operate to departmental standards including quality and productivity goals. Performs other duties as assigned.
