Your primary responsibility is to develop a detailed Center for Innovation Branding Enhancement Study Implementation Project Plan and to drive the plan to completion. This plan will involve a wide-range of facets to include cross-functional liaison and coordination amongst members of the CFI staff, corporate staff, contractors and consultants in and out of LMCO. Areas of management will include strategic communication coordination working directly with the on-site LMCO Communications Representative, enhanced engineering and visualization capabilities integration in coordination with on-site and remote LMCO experts in these areas, structural and architectural design coordination with internal and external subject matter experts, and overall Cost / Performance / Schedule (CPS) management of the overarching project plan.
This position reports directly to the Center Director. You are a strategic thinker with the ability to identify, examine and shape opportunities in a fast-paced environment. You pay attention to details and will be required to think multi-dimensionally and multi-task to deliver flawless execution on all assignments.
You must be able to work independently under general direction on complex problems involving all phases of project planning and execution. You will participate in strategic, operational, and tactical level planning and management studies, and assessments.
This position may require some travel.
• Established technical expertise in related area
• Proven/demonstrated project management experience including full-cycle project planning/execution using Microsoft Project
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
• Experience interfacing with inter-company, and industry partners at a high level
• Active Secret clearance prior to start
• Knowledge of DoD mission and concept of operation
• A well-rounded, broad set of skills including in some part:
- Program management skills
- Engineering aptitude
- Communications skills
- Marketing techniques
- Finance and contract interpretation
- Business development
- Operations analysis
