Position Summary

Responsible for producing data, analysis and reports that answer construction planning, budget, and process questions. Collect data from disparate data systems across multiple software platforms to complete analytics. Measure and track current and forecast future performance. Collaborate with Business Unit leadership to ensure that analysis, reports and metrics are appropriate and useful.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Conduct data extraction from various systems using SQL, SAS or other programming language

  • Conduct SQL and SAS programming analysis and propose updates or efficiencies

  • Evaluate current reporting and identify any reporting or process improvements

  • Assist in summarizing data into an analysis and reports

  • Draft recommendations to management based on data analysis and findings

  • Assist in proposing metrics and analytics that answer business questions

  • Assist in data clean up in systems and reports

  • Supports special projects or ad hoc business case preparation and analysis

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

  • Requires enrollment at an accredited four-year college or university with a major in business, finance, engineering, computer science, or related field

  • Junior with a 3.0 GPA or higher

  • Demonstrated professional demeanor and good interpersonal skills

  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with SQL, SAS or another programming language, preferred

  • Demonstrated strong attention to details

  • Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills

  • Ability to conduct research and utilize systems to report and present data

  • Demonstrated good time management and organizational skills
