Dell Consultant, Financial Analysis in Singapore, Singapore

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identify the risks and ensure comprehensive controls & compliance across channel, global alliance and OEM business in APJ

  • Define new policies & review existing polices from time to time

  • Work closely with segments, BU, FP&A, Accounting, Tax, GAT, FSS, Legal, BU and Compliance team

  • Exceptions review and approval for Quotas, NRD, rebate payments, SCP and DSI

  • Partner with Operations teams to drive understanding and controls around inventory mgt

  • Ensure right inventory levels thru constant review of sell thru plan

  • Prepare, review & sign off MRL

  • Active involve in AOP for APJ Channel RUM & Rebates target setting

  • Partner with business to deliver quarterly contribution margin plan

  • Provide strong controllership around opex & headcount

  • Lead regional initiatives e.g. NRD, non-compliance SCP impact, policy & partner claim timelines

Qualification & Requirements:

  • High energy Finance professional with a solid Controllership foundation who is proactive, solution oriented and customer focused.

  • Graduated from business or Finance with a minimum of 10+ years of working experience.

  • Have Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High Collaboration Skills and ability to work effectively across multiple functions in a complex, dynamic matrixed environment

  • Experience presenting to executives on a regular basis.

  • Candidates should also have the following competencies:

  • Good understanding of the company’s business goals and objectives

  • Thorough working knowledge of accounting principles and controls

  • Thorough ability to recognize financial implications of business decisions and strategy

  • Thorough organizational change management skills

  • Good Technical Decision making and Quality Improvement skills

  • Good Coaching, Consulting and Facilitation skills

  • Solid PowerPoint skills and be able to develop effective presentations to directly communicate/influence senior management audiences

  • Outstanding leadership and teamwork skills
