Strategic Analysis, Inc. is seeking a versatile individual with a biomedical background to provide technical support to a government client in the Department of Health Affairs (DHA). Our client’s office is responsible for overseeing S&T programs in health science, bioscience, and biomedical technology as related to DoD needs. The requested support will assist in the overall management, oversight and coordination of the Armed Services Biomedical Research Evaluation and Management (ASBREM) Community of Interest. Responsibilities include monitoring current research efforts and facilitating technical communications between government and industry. Strong interpersonal skills as well as working with a diverse team (military, government, and industry personnel) are essential. Your ability to interact with senior level S&T executives across multiple government agencies will be essential to success in this position.
Bachelor’s Degree in content-related field required
At least 2 years working within a Defense Department environment
Strong organizational and communication skills
Superior working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Ability to obtain Secret level Government Clearance; active SECRET clearance preferred
Experience with Business Development is a plus, but not a requirement
Technical Support Roles and Responsibilities include:
Assists in the overall management, oversight and coordination of the Armed Services Biomedical Research Evaluation and Management (ASBREM) Community of Interest (CoI).
Provides technical and programmatic support directly to the government client. Interacts daily with the client; contributions are viewed as key to the success of the program. Assists client with challenging and innovative projects or technical program development.
Assists in the planning, execution, and assessment of ongoing technical programs. Assists government client in advocating to higher government leaders on budgetary and programmatic issues for resources.
Provides presentation support, to include preparation of briefings and responses to Congressional Staff, Program Reviews, Program Approval Documents and Special Program Briefings.
Develops integrated technology roadmaps incorporating science and technology programs with on-going and planned acquisition programs.
Organizes workshops, symposia, and program reviews, including: preparation of meeting site; development of technical agenda; distribution of technical / educational information to attendees; documentation of minutes or proceedings; and tracking any action items that are related to the event.
Prepares draft documentation to include: technical evaluations, weekly reports, information papers, action memoranda, emails, and other documents.
