Account Manager - CPI
- Account Manager – Local OEM is accountable for all local direct OEMs business in China as well as to develop new project at existing local OEMs, explore new potential local direct OEM business to increase the market share, especially in Appliance/RAC Rotary/Air compressor/hydrocarbon compressor/heat transfer fluid market and thereby growing the business and increasing the profit.
RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Drive to grow the potential and existing direct local OEM business in terms of customers, market shares, and revenue and to improve business profitability through pricing and margin management in China.
Responsible for the new project/application developments at potential and existing direct OEMs, develop customized value propositions, achieve the growth via the existing business and the new commercialized business.
Responsible for positioning new value propositions at target local direct OEM for commercial development and for communicating value propositions to the market.
Develop and maintain networks at adequate levels in the value chain and within target OEM’s organizations focusing on engineering and technology and sales.
Responsible for collecting market information and communicating current and emerging needs for target local OEM to drive value proposition development.
Works closely with regional PMs and BDM to implement strategy for existing and potential local OEMs.
REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:
Bachelor’s in chemistry or related engineering field;
Very good understanding for refrigeration market in China.
10+ years’ experience with refrigeration, petroleum related industry.
A strong negotiator who can identify big local OEMs’ needs and persuasive in presenting ideas.
Relation builder (good social skills), networker.
Structured worker with project experience.
Willing to travel ≥ 50%
