ITT Corporation Core Maker 1st Shift in Seneca Falls, New York
Inspect and review core boxes before using.
Sift and pack sand into mold sections, core boxes, and pattern contours, using hand tools.
Clean and smooth molds, cores, and core boxes, and repair surface imperfections.
Form and assemble slab cores around patterns and position wire in mold sections to reinforce molds, using hand tools and glue.
Move and position work pieces, such as mold sections, patterns, and bottom boards, using cranes, or signal others to move workpieces.
Access computer to review work instructions.
May be required to operate industrial trucks (fork trucks, lift trucks, etc.)
May train new employees.
Cut wire using hand or hydraulic cutting tools.
Scan in production records for each day.
Sprinkle or spray parting agents onto patterns and mold sections to facilitate removal of patterns from molds. Clean up work area and clean out mixers.
Follow relevant work instructions and/or SOP.
Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Ability to perceive and interpret information through the senses of sight, hearing, smell, and touch at a level considered normal for a healthy adult. Must exhibit good balance.
Maximum lifting requirement is 50 lbs.; any material of greater weight must be moved using machinery or team lifts.
Requires standing, bending, twisting, for long periods at a time.
