Adobe Inc. Senior Software Engineer in Seattle, Washington

The Challenge Are you energized by the intersection of technology and design? Our team builds the platform for user experience and features that will propel Adobe to the next level of engagement and user retention of our flagship Creative Cloud products, on desktop, web and mobile platforms. What you will do: Develop in C++ and JavaScript for multiple platforms (desktop & mobile). Implement modules and frameworks for machine learning features in Creative Cloud (CC) products. Design the system to handle events, signals and feedback loops for a context manager that ML talents will use. Build the foundation of an orchestrator for various ML talents to work in a cohesive manner within CC apps. Enhance Adobe's new Unified Extensibility Platform (UXP) which is used by developers to build plugins for Adobe's Creative Cloud apps. Expose new capabilities like voice recognition & AI models through UXP for internal and external developers to use. Develop expertise in writing highly performant native code on various platforms like macOS, Windows, iOS and Android. Contribute to a browser like product with support for various web standards and JavaScript frameworks. Partner with various product teams (e.g. Ps, Xd, Ai, etc.) to integrate UXP and features built using UXP into Adobe's Creative Cloud apps. Build the Adobe platform that will change the face of Creative Cloud products and affect millions of users in their productivity. What you need to succeed: 5+ years of experience as a software engineer. 3+ years of experience building products for developers e.g. SDKs, libraries, open source software. Experience in modern C++ (e.g. C++11, C++14). Experience building ML features using neural networks, CoreML, WinML, TensorFlow, etc. Understanding of web browser technology / JavaScript engines. Passion for writing optimal highly performant code on desktop and mobile. Passion for collaborating with multiple engineering teams that are clients using your software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field. Great to have: Open source research projects in the machine learning space. Professional experience developing applications on multiple platforms is a plus (e.g. Web, desktop & mobile). Practical experience developing on contemporary web frameworks (React, Angular, NodeJS) or multi-platform technologies like React Native or NativeScript.
