Perkins Coie LLP Front Desk Assistant in Seattle, Washington

The Seattle office of Perkins Coie is seeking a Front Desk Assistant. This position will be responsible for greeting vendors and visitors upon arrival and provide administrative support to the Seattle Operations Department. Primary Job Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of personnel and vendors. * Maintain, coordinate, and plan a variety of tasks and projects related to operations. * Receive incoming documents. * Audit incoming office supplies. * Answer overflow calls. * Issue and audit security badges. * Continually monitor safety conditions. * Knowledgeably answer questions regarding the resources offered by Operations. * Assist with clerical overload and special projects. Specific Skills Required: Qualified candidates will possess excellent customer service and organizational skills, superb verbal and written skills, a high level of professionalism and excellent attendance. Must display an enthusiastic, courteous and pleasant demeanor both in person and over the phone. The ability to multitask and solve problems with diplomacy and tact is also extremely important. Candidates are expected to work as part of a team in a support role and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Must be flexible and able to handle confidential information and situations in a professional manner. Requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Must have the ability to work independently with moderate supervision. The ability to express self effectively, both orally and in writing, is required. Must be functional in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and various online database systems. Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of professional front office experience required. Law firm experience preferred.
