Manage and provide catering administrative support tocatering & events team.
Ensures all reporting and servicing deadlines are met in atimely fashion.
Promptly handles daily in-coming mail and internalcorrespondence.
Maintains a filing and tracing system for the CateringDepartment.
Answers and handles all incoming telephone calls for thedepartment according to the Hotel’s Standards & Procedures.
Ensure the Catering database is kept current and up-to-date.
Interacts with departments and hotel staff in a professionaland efficient manner to foster a good rapport, promote team spirit and ensureeffective two-way communication.
Maintain strictest confidentiality at all times on allmatters.
Responsible for inventory control and maintains a safe andsecure working environment.
Shifts back and forth efficiently between two or moreactivities and balances priorities effectively.
Follows policies and procedures.
Manage time effectively to complete the tasks required.
Coordinates with departments and individuals concerned inpreparation and submission of reports as required.
Ensure all the internal bookings to be recorded in systemaccordingly.
Assists in preparing BEO's.
Must have previous hotel sales and/or events experience.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Strong written, oral and verbal communication experience.
