Job Duties:

  • Manage and provide catering administrative support tocatering & events team.

  • Ensures all reporting and servicing deadlines are met in atimely fashion.

  • Promptly handles daily in-coming mail and internalcorrespondence.

  • Maintains a filing and tracing system for the CateringDepartment.

  • Answers and handles all incoming telephone calls for thedepartment according to the Hotel’s Standards & Procedures.

  • Ensure the Catering database is kept current and up-to-date.

  • Interacts with departments and hotel staff in a professionaland efficient manner to foster a good rapport, promote team spirit and ensureeffective two-way communication.

  • Maintain strictest confidentiality at all times on allmatters.

  • Responsible for inventory control and maintains a safe andsecure working environment.

  • Shifts back and forth efficiently between two or moreactivities and balances priorities effectively.

  • Follows policies and procedures.

  • Manage time effectively to complete the tasks required.

  • Coordinates with departments and individuals concerned inpreparation and submission of reports as required.

  • Ensure all the internal bookings to be recorded in systemaccordingly.

  • Assists in preparing BEO's.

  • Must have previous hotel sales and/or events experience.

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.

  • Strong written, oral and verbal communication experience.
