We invite you to explore a career with our Wesco Aircraft Customer Operations Team.SUMMARY:The Warehouse Lead is accountable for leading the day to day processes and successfully trouble shooting warehouse issues within their respective scope of management. Warehouse Leads are expected to accomplish their daily tasks in addition to managing high priority and complex customer issues through strong team coordination and follow-through. General hands-on duties may include one or more of the following tasks: receiving in product, stock put away, inventory management (cycle-count and rack confirmations), picking, packing, pulling, documenting and shipping customized orders, accurately and expeditiously; and in accordance with AS and ISO standards, as required. Areas of specialty or responsibility may include Electronic Products Group component parts warehousing, Facility departments or Government Kits, within a variety of warehouse environments.Warehouse Leads (within specific locations), may be responsible for running daily productivity reports, delegating assignments; and leading and assisting in locating appropriate product with a radio frequency system or an inventory data-base program. The Warehouse Lead will ensure the required quantities and sizes are pulled, counted, weighed and packaged; and the accurate documents are included for shipment. This fast-paced position consistently requires a high volume of productivity; with strong attention to detail to variances in product identification; ability to accurately understand and follow written specifications; perform data entry; and follow customized requirements with trained knowledge of quality standards and customer specifications.The Warehouse Lead may also be responsible to drive company vehicles to transport material to and from specified locations, as licensed; as well as assist warehouse management in training, leading, and mentoring less experienced levels of personnel.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain and apply accurate knowledge and understanding of Wesco Warehouse work instructions, policies, and procedures in all work practices and decisionsReceive material from vendors and enter data in computerPerform stock put away functions by assigning and stocking product to assigned locations throughout the warehousePerform timely cycle counts, stock transfers, and inventory audits to support an accurate inventory management systemLead and assist cycle-count and rack confirmations, as assignedCompose paperwork/correspondence, analyze, troubleshoot, and reconcile inventory discrepanciesPull material from stock (using Radio Frequency (RF) system, if applicable), to fill orders and/or resolve inventory and customer discrepanciesUse and/or oversee the utilization of scales to weigh and/or hand count product per warehouse/customer specificationsUse and/or oversee the utilization label printer to prepare labelsLead or monitor packaging and preparation of products for shipment, ensuring: there are accurate product counts for the order received, and that customer specific requirements are met in the bagging and labeling the productUse...
