Location: St. Peter's Medical Associates: Saratoga Family Practice

Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Summary: The Medical Assistant, under the direction of the Medical Provider, Office Nurse, and/or Director, provides a variety of patient care and secretarial functions in assisting with the care of patients within the appropriate scope of practice. Clinical functions include but are not limited to: patient intake, vitals, phlebotomy, EKGs. Clerical functions include but are not limited to: registration, billing, cash collecting, filing, medical records maintenance.

Education:

High School diploma / GED required

Certification as Medical Assistant is preferred

Experience:

Graduated from a Medical Assistant training program (proof required) or 2 or more years of work experience in a healthcare clinical capacity ie CNA. If no certification, review class and certification exam must be completed and passed within 90 days of employment.

Must be able to lift 20 lbs
