St. John SapulpaSt. John Sapulpa, a member of St. John Health System, staffed with our committed physicians, nurses and specialists working with state-of-the-art technologies in a wide array of disciplines. Our 25-bed, non-profit hospital offers full-service primary care as well as gastroenterology and general surgery. St. John Sapulpa is a critical access facility offering a full range of services including emergency care, cardiac care, inpatient and outpatient therapy (physical, speech, and occupational), skilled nursing care, surgical services, radiology, including mammography, ultrasound, x-ray, MRI, and CT, and laboratory services.

The Medical/Surgical unit provides care for patients receiving general medical care, surgical intervention, or skilled nursing services such as intravenous antibiotics, wound care, and therapy as an inpatient. If you are looking for a smaller team, then look no further! Forty associates team together to provide care for the patients in the medical/surgical unit. Every Medical/Surgical associate works cohesively with the interdisciplinary team members to help each patient achieve their goals before their discharge date. What You Will Do

As an Associate with St John Health System, you will have the opportunity to assist with basic patient care activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).

  • Assists in providing care appropriate to population specific facilitating timely and individualized care of assigned patients.

  • Assists patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.

  • Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.

  • Assists with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

  • Required Credential(s):

  • BLS Providerobtained within1 Month (30 days)of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • Diploma

  • High school diploma or GED required

Work Experience:

  • None required.
