Our research focuses on practical, scalable and performance driven architectures that evaluate trade-offs of current and new paradigms as we begin to assimilate newer hardware for storage rich servers. Our goal is to implement, evaluate and innovate file system and storage system interfaces to exploit storage class memory/persistent memory.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience using distributed storage and Systems
Basic knowledge of non volatile memory, storage class memory
Performance analysis expertise
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
A strong research background
Experience using file system optimization
Intermediate understanding of performance trade offs in distributed storage systems
