Key qualifications:

  * Certification as a Surveyor-in-Training by the Texas Board of Land Surveying

  * Minimum of 5 years in surveying

  * Proficiency in CADD is mandatory, and experience with TxDOT is a plus

  * Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite

  * Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to establish robust relationships with both internal and external clients

Skills and Requirements

Core Responsibilities:

  * Generate metes and bounds descriptions for boundary survey projects, create parcel plat exhibits, and produce various mapping outputs

  * Conduct research and abstracting for deeds and easements

  * Gather deed and easement data necessary for creating deed plots and base maps for Right of Way projects

  * Verify the adequacy of survey computations against applicable standards

  * Collect necessary information for new surveys, utilizing source maps, previous survey data, photographs, computer records, and other pertinent information

• Prepare Right of Way, Parcel Plats, and topographic and contour maps of surveyed land, including site features null
