The Sustainability Office seeks two Sustainability Ambassadors to help promote sustainability at the University of Utah. The Sustainability Office empowers students, employees, and the broader community through education, engagement, and collaborative action to build a sustainable future. We envision the University of Utah as a beacon of sustainability, inspiring positive change locally and globally. Sustainability Ambassadors will further this mission and make programs that are engaging and relevant for the whole campus.Sustainability Ambassadors will work independently and collaboratively with our team of faculty, staff, and student employees. Work will include planning events, creating content for marketing, coordinating sustainability programs, and supporting administrative functions of the office. Sustainability Ambassadors will learn professional skills and grow their understanding of sustainability at the University of Utah.This position is open to all majors. This position is work-study eligible but work-study participation is not required.QualificationsMust be a University of Utah full-time student, either undergraduate or graduate level.Physical requirementsWork may include being outside in all kinds of weather for long periods of time, lifting heavy objects, speaking over the phone, and typing.
