Perform technical animal surgical, drug treatment and behavioral testing procedures in a research laboratory under minimal supervision using standard scientific methods and principles. Will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining procedure rooms and maintaining animal colonies. Will assist in maintaining and ordering animals, materials and equipment used. Perform microscopy imaging experiments using fluorescent light and confocal microscopes Perform immunohistochemistry procedures for various tissues, fluorescent probes and experiments. May supervise undergraduate students working in the lab.
