New Position to Begin 2018/2019


The Division of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Utah is seeking a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible physiatrist with additional subspecialty board-certification/eligibility in Brain Injury Medicine. This position will join our existing Brain Injury team and assist in the growth and expansion of the program, to include the development of a fellowship training program and research opportunities with our Departments of Neurosurgery, Neurology, and College of Health. Applicants should have strong interest in research, clinical, and teaching opportunities. Strong interpersonal skills are essential. Salary is competitive and benefits are excellent. Support for research may be negotiated.

The University of Utah serves patients from a multi-state region with a Level 1 trauma center, 450 acute care beds and a 37-bed CARF -accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility.

The position will include planning for transition to the 75-bed Craig H. Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital, which will be one of the most advanced rehabilitation facilities in the nation and will serve as a catalyst for the further development of the University’s rehabilitation programs.
