CACI International C# Windows Desktop Application Software Engineer in Rome, New York

Job Description

CACI helps the Air Force Research Laboratory explore, prototype, and demonstrate new technologies, enabling the Air Force to maintain its technological advantage. We are seeking a C# Windows Desktop Application Software Engineer to help us research and develop advanced high-resolution visualization concepts.

As a C# Windows Desktop Application Software Engineer, you will:

  • Work with subject-matter experts to develop technology for rapid, flexible and adaptive visualization of large complex data sets.

  • Develop software to rapidly present information on large, high-resolution displays.

  • Develop approaches for integrating multiple 2D and 3D visualizations into a single large display canvas.

  • Develop approaches for smoothly and quickly transitioning between different information display configurations.

Technologies we use:

  • C#, .NET, Windows Forms, Windows Presentation Framework (WPF)

  • Java

  • Git, Jira

You’ll need to meet these requirements to be eligible:

  • US Citizenship

  • Able to obtain DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance

  • Available to work in-person at our facilities in Rome, NY

  • Able to work in an office environment, including using computers for long periods of time and communicating with others face-to-face, by telephone, or email.

  • Able to participate in infrequent travel

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related field

  • 5 years of relevant experience
