Centene Corporation Account Manager in Rocky Mount, North Carolina
ProfessionalPosition Purpose: Manage and maintain assigned account and client relationships and service responsibilities, including implementations, relationship building, monitoring contract compliance, and ensuring performance guarantees and general customer service to all accounts.

Assist in the project management of all contract implementations and in the establishment of strong account relationships while ensuring a smooth transition of services for members
Provide training to clients on the use and function of the products and services
Coordinate the design, development and rollout of product enhancements and related projects as requested by clients
Complete regularly scheduled site visits, conference calls and vendor delegation meetings with all accounts
Act as liaison between all contracts and company operating departments on Account Management issues
Coordinate with the Quality Improvement department the tracking of all account related complaints/concerns and ensure timely follow-up, including resolution with all appropriate operations and/or corporate staff
Work with staff to resolve problems or complaints identified by accounts and manage account issues to closure
Assist the Director of Quality and Compliance & CEO in the development and completion of Account Corrective Action Plans
Support sales and business development opportunities and assist in the development of RFP's and expansion of new business
Translate ideas and client requests into actionable items for the operations, call center or product development team to enhance service delivery or new product offerings
Provide support and strategic business insight about products and services to management, peers and clients
Assist the Director of Quality and Compliance & CEO with monitoring and tracking legislative or regulatory changes and issues for all states of operation
Ability to travel
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of related account management, client services or other related experience. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff.
