The VCU Health Radiology department is seeking a full time 3D Imaging Specialist. The 3D Imaging Specialist works independently using various imaging computer workstations and multiple post processing software and hardware solutions to process and produce multi-planar reformatted and three dimensional images from volumetric scans of patients. The Specialist also works closely with radiology section chiefs to develop post-processing protocols. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire Current Certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) in CT or MRI Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment including CPR, etc. Current Certification by ARRT in CT or MR Level and type of experience REQUIRED Minimum of 3 years of CT or MRI experience Level and type of experience PREFERRED 5 years of CT or MR experience Previous work experience in 3D imaging Previous work experience in an academic medical center environment. Education/training REQUIRED Graduation from a JRC Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology Education/training PREFERRED Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Radiation Science or closely related field from an accredited program. Specific coursework in cross-sectional and anatomy and physiology.
