Responsibilities

  • Developing and extending existing web applications on a global scale for one of the most visible digital properties - Azure.com

  • Leveraging cloud-first architecture using containers and microservice APIs built on the Microsoft Stack

  • Provide design guidance, PoCs, and code reviews to other teammates

  • Fully own delivery of features in our online platform and SRE support once shipped

  • Cloud Architect delivering full-stack solutions to engineering team to scale to the business growth

  • Represent engineering team in scrum ceremonies regarding discussions, road-mapping, and priorities

Qualifications

Basic

BS or MS in Computer Science or related sciences

6+ YOE in software engineer role

Expert-level knowledge of C# and .NET Core

Experience with distributed/serverless architectures

Proficient in understanding of REST & JSON

Preferred

3+ YOE with Angular/React

3+ YOE with Typescript/Javascript and NodeJS

3+ YOE with LESS/SASS and CSS/HTML5

3+ YOE with grunt/gulp/msbuild/npm toolchains

Unit Testing with MS Test/Moq/Jasmine/Karma/Puppeteer/Selenium

Comprehensive experience using Azure DevOps & GitHub

Knowledge in all-and-subject matter expertise in at least two of the following:

Networking Tier - CDN/WAF/DNS/ATM/SSL, active/passive monitoring, reverse proxy/ARR

App Tier - ASP.NET core, middleware, kestrel, PaaS

Data Tier - REST Web API, API versioning, OOP/POCO, JSON schema validations, Polly

Governance - Secure SDLC/OWASP, GDPR, BCDR, Accessibility, AAD/OAuth

UX Design - principles of design, user experience, and user interface

SRE - DevOps CI/CD, Telemetry Pipeline, Elastic Compute - autoscale/autopilot

Data & Analytics - data-driven analytical pipeline, experimentation & personalization concepts

Bonus Skills:

gRPC using DAPR/RUDR for distributed apps and AKS for containers infrastructure

Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure Search, Azure Redis

Azure Front Door, Azure DNS, Traffic Manager

Azure API Management

Azure Monitor, Azure Application Insights, Log Analytics

Azure Data Explorer, Cosmos DB, Azure Storage, & Azure SQL
