Microsoft Corporation Senior Software Engineer in Redmond, Washington

Our charter is to define what it means to build an integration app with modern connectivity and services and to be the market leader in this space. Our primary technical focus is integrating various SaaS (Software as a Service) and Enterprise systems and making business-to-business and enterprise application connectivity possible. The Logic Apps product is available today in Azure and offers a great end-to-end experience which includes a world class web authoring, management, and monitoring experience for workflows and orchestrations between applications, data, and services. The Logic Apps service runs at a massive scale processing billions of actions daily.

Responsibilities

Our integration app product has rapid adoption and momentum. We are looking to build on top of this momentum by adding various capabilities to help users author, manage, and/or monitor their workflows in a super smooth fashion, and run them at massive scale. We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer who will effectively contribute to these goals, and who is deeply passionate about building a scalable, highly performing, enterprise-grade platform based on the latest cloud technologies to meet our technical and business objectives.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of software development experience

  • 2+ years of C# experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, OR equivalent industry experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building scalable web services, SaaS offerings, and REST APIs

  • Experience with Azure or other cloud providers

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check. This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
