Microsoft Corporation Security Program Manager in Redmond, Washington

The Enterprise and Security team within the Core OS and Intelligent Edge division has a mission to build the world’s most trusted platform and to ensure that customers both trust what we build and how we secured it.

We seek a talented individual, like you, who is passionate about security and demonstrating assurance in Microsoft products, including Windows. Our largest customers expect Microsoft products and services be safe, secure, and compliant with security standards and certifications across the planet.


Your impact to the mission:

  • Managing product security certifications and creating evaluation evidence for worldwide evaluation programs such as FIPS 140, Common Criteria, and ISO 27034.

  • Developing parts and overseeing execution of Microsoft’s technical strategy to make our operating systems and customers that use them more secure.

  • Understanding security standards to generate requirements for Microsoft products, and then drive implementation with engineering teams across Microsoft.

  • Developing a certification strategy for emerging parts of the Microsoft business.

  • Establishing metrics to measure assurance in the build process


Your experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related technical field.

  • Experience with IT security, privacy, supply chain, and assurance concerns.

  • Excellent verbal and writing skills.
