Microsoft Corporation Program Manager II in Redmond, Washington

The Azure Core Security Services team is seeking a highly motivated, technical and talented Program Manager to deliver critical infrastructure security features. As part of the Azure Core Security Services team, you will be working on the infrastructure layer of Microsoft, delivering security features which impact millions of our customers worldwide, from consumers playing on Xbox to government customers running mission critical applications. You will partner closely with engineering teams across Azure, as well as legal and compliance teams to ensure we provide the most secure cloud infrastructure on Earth.


  • Coordinating with partners to deliver security solutions that scale to millions of machines

  • Drive engineering program schedules

  • Communicate program status to key holders, including executives

  • Engage security partners, legal, and compliance team to ensure our security planning is focused on addressing emerging threats


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience driving programs/products/services end-to-end in a software or IT environment

  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Computer Science, engineering or equivalent focus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to drive high-value engineering projects involving multiple partners to success

  • An advantage would be knowledge of security engineering or cloud infrastructure (GCP, Kubernetes, Autopilot, AWS, etc).

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
