The Identity team at MIcrosoft believes in empowering all organizations to achieve more with secure, flexible, and highly personal digital relationships. As more customers digitally transform, embracing cloud-based identity as a service, the lines between employee, customer and partner identity are blurring, and the distinctions between solutions for traditional business-to-business and business-to-consumer relationships are beginning to fall away. This need for external identities access management is an important trend and an opportunity for both product and business innovation.

External Identities is part of the fast-growing Azure Active Directory suite of Enterprise and Mobility Services. We design, build and operate two of the most popular identity services, Azure Active Business to Business (B2B) and Azure Active Directory Business to Customer (B2C). Together they are used by millions at work and play every day, around the globe. We are working on an integrated service that provides a shared fabric for customizable identity, where our customers can connect to users with digital identities from any other business as well as services like Facebook, Google, WeChat, Yahoo, Twitter, or others based on open standards.

Responsibilities

In this role you’ll be part of a team of talented program managers working with stakeholders across engineering, design, business, marketing, sales, customer engagement and others defining the next generation of External Identities experiences in Azure Active Directory. You'll need to ramp up some key identity and security concepts, but don't worry if you're not an expert. What’s really important is that you can bring people together, generate energy, drive clarity, and deliver results in a team environment. Importantly, you'll connect deeply with customers, understand their needs and scenarios, and inspire and guide the team to build great customer-focused solutions. We are looking for candidates from all different backgrounds, and will highly value those who bring excellence in strategic thinking, leadership, interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence without authority.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Three (3) years' experience in program management, product management or other related role

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent written and oral communication

• Passion for satisfying customer needs and driving customer high satisfaction and engagement

• Ability to define product features and solutions and plan product milestones

• Ability to prioritize features and plan across inputs from customers, business, and others

• Ability to collaborate across teams and organizations

• Outstanding problem-solving skills

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
